EXCAVATOR OPERATIONS COURSE
Equips workers with the knowledge and skills to safely operate an excavator in various situations.
OVERVIEW
This course is often called an “excavator operations course” but formally it is identified as “RIIMPO320F Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations”.
This nationally recognised course covers topics such as planning and preparing for operations, conducting machine pre-operational checks, operating the Excavator, excavating or loading materials, various operational techniques, selecting, removing and fitting attachments, relocating the Excavator, carrying out machine operator maintenance and cleaning up. This course can be customised for operators of all skill levels.
All candidates that successfully complete the course will be issued with a statement of attainment and wallet card for RIIMPO320F Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations. An experienced operator may choose an RPL assessment option hat bypasses training. RPL assessment and VOC can be performed at your worksite.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR
Operators of excavators or those seeking employment in the Civil Construction industry.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to operate excavator operations to lift carry and place materials.
This unit applies to those working in site based roles.
LOCATION & DURATION
The training programs can be conducted at the Kimberley Training and Assessment training facility over 1-2 days (depending on group size)
